Four remaining Republican candidates are Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul, all have significant achievements in life that would make any conservative proud in degrees by candidate.
Mr.Willard Mitt (Mittens) Romney, who was born March 12, 1947, became a successful venture capitalist who successfully turned around many failing companies, creating thousands of jobs. He took the helm of the Salt Lake City Olympics and brought it back from huge losses to a sizable gain. For some unknown reason he began to build a resume as a moderate, a RINO, became a successful governor of the very liberal state of Massachusettes, foisted Romney Care on a state population with over 80% already covered under a health care over-reach. Gov. Romney ran in 2002 and promised he would not raise taxes, then only $750 million in tax increases including a tax on New Hampshire commuters, a tax, strange enough, on people who were blind,” he said. “I know they were scraping the bottom but it seems they could afford not taxing people who are blind.”(1)
Still Romney managed to back some conservative policies he does not mention, get them passed and a number of taxes raised with budget cuts to create a surplus while ramming through a health care for the remaining few million not covered, favors gay "marriage" and abortion as do many other lawyers, especially Democrat trial lawyers.
Apparently Romney got so enthused with his GOP Establishment OK if you do this and that that he forgot to apply business expertise gained from Bain Capital and the Olympics.
Mr. Gingrich, a former professor, is one of the fine policy minds in the country. After forty years of a GOP House minority, he engineered the Republican tidal wave of 1994 that was a continuation of what you started after the 1980 election. He dragged a Democratic leader kicking and screaming into balanced budgets and welfare reform. He paid the price for turning America around when hounded by lawyers from office and roguishly "fined" a king's ransom by mischievious and devious lawyers. He was later found innocent of any wrong-doing.
A life-long member of the NRA who says he never owned a gun, Newt Gingrich stated, “I personally haven’t,” he said. “I believe in the right to bear arms, and I strongly defend the right to bear arms.”(1)
People like Pete (Notnaked) Stark, a California Democrat, who attack taxpayers who use legal loopholes are voicing LOUD support of a FLAT TAX under which everybody living off government benefits would have to have some earnings and be taxed on their food stamps, housing assistance and other gains although for political reasons, they would never ADMIT anything because they apparently LIKE wading through 54,000 pages of IRS tax law and paying experts to "save them so tax money". Why would ANYBODY want to pay MORE than he/she would be required to pay BY LAW? This would be STUPID.
When the IRS goes after a "Dividends Exploiter", they find a judge who is willing to take an educated "GUESS" at what would be a FAIR SALARY for someone with the would-be Dividends Exploiter's skill and experience which is VERY ARBITRARY. Thus the taxpayer has to "GUESS" what MIGHT be a FAIR SALARY or wind up contested in court with a judge "deciding" what is fair. Kind of like a "flashrooster" who thinks he is a fair man when he, like the Democrats, ignores millions of taxpayers taking time from their own lives to peacefully protest arbitrary and onerous and tyrannical methodology involving OUTRIGHT BRIBERY!
Guys like LTVfan at least propose a solution, his being to tax the land and property on a NATIONAL scale and leave WORK income alone. This makes sense as that which is TAXED is de-incentivized and thus de-motivated. People are rewarded with TAX breaks for working six months and loafing the other six months, with SOME getting paid by the government to NOT WORK. Like paying farmers to NOT FARM their land...this makes NO SENSE although to some it MAY appear that the six on six off is ALLOWING another person to be UNDER-EMPLOYED or "sharing the job" as if working all year was "hogging" a job!
This is government subsidized laziness is deeply resented by taxpayers carrying the tax load. They play by the rules despite knowing that other people take advantage of the "system" or "play the system". This fact and all sorts tax dodges promoted by "special interests" and "lobbyists" and passed by the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate lead to outright travesties like the yacht tax that almost ruined yacht builders in the USA! Did Congress do anything to help the people they TRAMPLED with the yacht tax forcing "rich people" to buy from overseas?
Mr. Santorum is a leading champion of trying to strengthen American families. He was also a leading foreign policy voice in the Senate who also knows best the importance of "Reagan Democrats." He is committed to restoring the manufacturing base in this nation and helping save blue collar, working class jobs in industries that others have given up on.
Dr. Paul is a respected medical professional who personally delivered hundreds of newborn babies into this world. He is one of the fine minds in this country on economic matters. When nobody was talking about the weakening of the American currency, he led the charge to strengthen the dollar.
Mr. Rick Santorum, conservative on social issues, has won several votes scaring the GOP Establishment who chose Romney to lose this 2012 as a liberal RINO since they are lakadasical
Dr. Paul has many supporters who will bolt the GOP if he does not win the nomination. Right now he is in last place among the four, and his supporters care absolutely zero about the coalition that you built. They despise the GOP establishment, and the antipathy is mutual.

If turning over the Presidency to the Democrats is your aim, having a NO-GO VP as a non-successor, why punish the innocent by being slow to right a wrong? Bush could have declared a disagreement with liberal judges, which is acceptable after a short time, and issuing a PARDON. Forcing Ford to pardon Nixon then running him for President as an incumbent was political suicide just as FORCING Goldwater to decry civil rights ON JUNETEEN was political suicide. POTUS Gerald Ford, a decent man, had PLENTY of time to pardon Nixon AFTER he lost or even AFTER he WON...millions of us LOATHE GOP Establishment for "crapping out our candidates". These obvious examples from US history bear conservatives out.
